All prices listed are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change at any time.
A price is considered final only once an official invoice has been issued.

4. Orders & Payment

Full payment is required before any order is confirmed. We accept major payment methods including EFT, card payments, and other approved payment gateways.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order in the event of suspicious activity, stock unavailability, or incomplete payment.

5. Lead Times & Availability

Stock availability may vary.
In cases where an item is out of stock, you will be informed of the expected lead time or offered an alternative option.
Custom or special-order rugs may carry longer lead times.

6. Delivery & Collection

We offer nationwide delivery through trusted courier partners.
Delivery fees are calculated based on location, size, and weight of the rug.
Customers may also opt for free in-store collection from our Woodstock location.

Please ensure that delivery details are accurate. Gonsenhausers is not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or unavailable recipients.

7. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your purchase. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is:

• Unused
• In original condition
• Free from stains, dirt, and damage
• Returned with original packaging

Custom-made or special-order rugs cannot be returned unless defective.
Refunds may take up to 7–10 working days to process.

8. Defective or Damaged Products

If a product is damaged, defective, or incorrect on arrival, notify us within 48 hours with photos and order details.
We will assess the claim and offer a replacement, repair, or refund as applicable.

9. Care & Maintenance

Rugs require regular care.
We provide general care and maintenance guidelines, but customers are responsible for proper upkeep.
Damage resulting from improper cleaning, misuse, or neglect is not covered under returns or warranty claims.

10. Warranties

Certain rugs may include manufacturer warranties.
Warranty terms differ by product type and are limited to manufacturing defects—not wear and tear or accidental damage.

11. Limitation of Liability

Gonsenhausers is not liable for:

• Damage caused by incorrect installation, cleaning, or treatment
• Colour fading due to sunlight exposure
• Dye inconsistencies typical to handmade or natural fibre rugs
• Damages arising from courier delays or force majeure events
• Our total liability will not exceed the value of the purchased item.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content—including images, logos, product descriptions, and branding—remains the property of Gonsenhausers and may not be reproduced without written consent.

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during purchases or website use is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African regulations, including POPIA.
